The scientist behind Schrodi's Lab
Hi! I'm Dr. Illya, a scientist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master's in Education.
I have a lifelong passion for sharing the wonders of science with young minds. I first fell in love with chemistry at 11 years old, when someone showed me just how exciting and magical science can be. That spark shaped my entire career, and today I’m dedicated to inspiring that same curiosity in families across the Houston area.
I’ve been an educator since 2006 and have more than a decade of experience in children’s entertainment, allowing me to blend scientific learning with fun, creativity, and engagement.
Schrodi’s Lab is where both worlds come together—hands-on, meaningful science experiences designed for kids and teens.I can't wait to bring science to your next event!
